Alan played a day before Chinese New Year piece on erhu

Then he played Meihua San Nong on qin.

Juni made some opening remarks as vice-president and played the Qin piece Gufeng Cao, Etenraku 越天樂 from Yamagata’s manual

She then discussed her research on Etenraku and Japanese modal tunings.

Andre played his recorded Qin piece: Ao Ai

Ralph discussed Chinese Shadow puppets and displayed some he made. His slide presentation is here.

Peiyou gave her vision for the New York Qin Society and then played her Yang Chun video with calligraphy and guqin.

John wanted to play 除夜 Chu Ye (New Year’s Eve) from his web page, but had problems with sharing. Here’s the web page link. Instead there was a discussion about Chinese OCR software.
