Overview: Following the last year’s workshop, we have again Master Jung-Ping Yuan in New York. Deepening the last year’s lecture on understanding and learning how to express the core meaning of the music, this workshop will concentrate on two pieces – Yi Guren (憶故人) in depth on the first day, and on the second day: Lecture on Qui Sai Yin(秋塞吟) and Lecture on the Qin song (琴歌) “Lament of Departure” from the creative process, recital and singing method. Please note that this workshop is not for beginners to learn how to play. You should be at the level to be able to read qin’pu and play.

Fees: $280 (Tuition only, $330 after October 15, 2015).
Housing & Meal:
No accommodation and meals provided. The closest accommodation will be at Lazy Pond B&B (www.lazypond.com, 845-292-3362), 5 min. drive from the Studio. Also check Stone Wall Acres B&B (www.stonewallacresbandb, 845-701-2271) 7 min. You must provide your own transportation between hotel/B&B and the Studio.
For those who have budget limitation, we will offer to stay at the Studio up to 5 people max. with small fees. You must provide your own sleeping bags, linens and towels. For those who must travel by public transportation, we can offer sleeping bags and towels first come first served basis.
We will provide info as to nearby shops, restaurants, take-out places and may arrange ordering in food together if so desired by majority.
Private Lessons:
Private one-on-one lessons or private group lessons may be available. We still do not have Master Yuan’s detailed schedules while in NY but will let you know as soon as it’s available. For fees and other details,
