1. Guest, Tung Chen 陳瞳 – qin playing of Shen Ren Chang 神人暢 Harmony Between Human and Spirit, and Wei Bian San Jue 韋編三絕 Leather Bindings Broken Thrice
Tung Chen is currently a junior high school student from New Jersey. Before moving to New Jersey, she lived in California for 3 years and Shanghai for 11 years. She first started learning the guqin in Shanghai in 2013 under the guqin professional Yang Zhi Jian’s（杨致俭老师）association. Playing the guqin provides endless knowledge to not only the guqin culture but also depths of the history of this instrument, and also adds a peaceful state of mind to the life of a busy high schooler.
2. Guest, David Evans – Qin playing of 洞庭秋思 Autumn Thoughts at Dongting (Zha Fuxi’s dapu)
David Evans is a UN official in New York who has lived and worked in China and Singapore. He was blessed to take up the Guqin during the pandemic. Now he follows our friend Juni Yeung, and combines the Guqin with practicing traditional archery, as well as studying calligraphy.

6. Guest, Daniel Juarez – World Music, modern composition
Daniel Juarez is an award winning multi instrumentalist song writer based in California. His music reflects a melancholic and melodic style stemming from his years as an alternative hard rock singer/songwriter blended with a unique combination of acoustic world instruments. Daniel is currently working on his debut instrumental album scheduled to be released in the winter of 2022 followed by a select number of tour dates.

Peiyou Chang 張培幼 – 分享北京中央音乐学院作曲系教授姚晨的古琴創作曲, 及簡短分享10/21參加周文中講壇的zoom meeting 洛秦教授(上海音樂學院)及梁雷教授(UCSD)對現代古琴創作曲的一些看法 Video sharing one or two of the Guqin creations of Yao Chen, Professor of the Composition Department of the Central Conservatory of Music in Beijing (https://yaochenmusic.com/).
