Due to the great discussion and a suggestion from Marilyn, after seeing Bin’s Guang Ling San demonstration, we will add a yaji in June to focus on the study of Guang Ling San 廣陵散. Feedback

Lawrence P Kaster: Live music and interesting discussions about music. What could be better than that on a Sunday afternoon? I got pretty excited by Mambo’s allegorical references to Carlo Collodi’s “Pinocchio”, about how wood is endowed with degrees of spiritual power; how a “lively” spirit might grow into a physical presence by various efforts. That, and other more technical revelations (John Thompson’s presentation particularly, and Jim Binkley’s lovely stories) made the time quite worthwhile for me.

Andrea Lioy: I loved yesterdays Yaji. So rich! I’m very lucky to have found NYQS and I really appreciate the effort that all of you are making to make Qin music more available to western audiences!
